My last post I told all of you to stay tuned because my life was about to change. I’m moving! Yep! I’m packing what little I have, putting Jaxon in the back seat and I’m moving. I’m scared and excited and somedays I have emotions that I can’t even label, but I’m taking every ounce of hope, faith, courage and determination to embrace change.
I don’t have a job, but I’ve got a little online makeup business, a few sales under my belt and a little voice inside that keeps telling me to move. I have never visited the place that I will soon call home, and that isn’t how I normally do things. I know one person in the area who just gave me the okay to temporarily stay with her and I’m so thankful because that wasn’t always the case. I have a little bit of money saved up, and after homeschooling Jaxon since the first grade I have to find him a school and that scares the bageebees out of me.
I’m convinced that many of us all have our own idea of what it means to live a fulfilled life. How those desires are accomplished depends upon the individual. I simply believe that there is so much more to me as a woman and mother and those thoughts just want allow me to rest.
I’ve moved before, but this time I have a child who is counting on me. Being responsible for a child adds pressure and a little more fear, but facing my fears and being an example to my son is going to benefit the both of us. What I do know is that this world has claimed to be a place where goodness can manifest into anyone’s life and so I welcome all the blessings that this world has to offer.
As this blog comes to an end I’m sure that many of you can relate to my desire in some shape or form. Perhaps you have wanted to make some changes in your life, walk away from a negative relationship go back to school, start a business or embrace your gifts and talent. If you had these desires please know that you are not alone and you can change your life as well.
I would like to invite you all on a beautiful journey with me and if you know someone who needs some encouragement invite them as well. Most importantly, I would like to share how standing firm on a decision has been working out in my favor. I have no idea how this story is going to end, but I know how it is going to start and that is simply by taking a chance.
